OPERATIONS NOTE:
June 26, 2026 - The N6NFI/R power amplifier was replaced, tnx to Rolf (N6NFI) and helpers. If you have trouble reaching the repeater on 145.23, please go to EchoLink.org and sign-up for a free account, then connect to KR6DD-R. The KR6DD-R node is up but K6OL and W6REK are off for the time being.
FIELD DAY - BEGINNING SATURDAY 6/27/26:
This is a special annual weekend for amateur radio operators! Please go to ARRL.ORG and check out "Field Day" for all the news and the Field Day Locator map to see where groups are setup across the U.S. Many local groups are setup all over the SF Bay Area. This year the Palo Alto Amateur Radio Club (PAARA) had to relocate at the last moment and will be in San Martin. Please go visit PAARA, FARS, SBARA, and many local groups to get a real flavor for what we do with amateur radio and join in!

The 9 A.M. Talk Net started during the 1980's when Arv, WA6UUT, and friends met at 1000 to help new hams. The tradition continues! Learn about our net history, procedures, connecting via EchoLink and our history of net control operators.
WA6UUT (ARV) MEMORIAL LUNCHEON EVERY WEDNESDAY, 11:30-3!
Arv's Wednesday Luncheon meets 11:30-3:00 P.M. at the Black Bear Diner, 415 East El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA. Located near Las Palmas Park and South Fair Oaks Avenue - lots of parking in back. After entering the front door, "bear" left and see old friends and those you haven't met. Arrive anytime between 11:30-3:00 P.M. Presentations and door prizes. Thanks Dave, K6WA!
